Bitch Is Crazy
"Bitch Is Crazy" works a familiar mid-2000s frame — a relationship turned chaotic, narrated entirely from the speaker's vantage. On Comeback Season it reads as a young Drake operating closer to genre convention than to the more self-implicating relationship writing he'd later develop, where blame tends to land on himself too. The one-sided framing here is more typical of the era than of mature Drake. The 40 and Boi-1da production keeps the mood low. As a deep cut its main interest is developmental: it shows the distance Drake still had to travel from conventional kiss-off material toward the ambivalent, introspective register that became his trademark. A useful contrast point rather than a highlight.
