Members Only
Members Only builds around the idea of restricted access — the title evoking private clubs and closed inner circles as a metaphor for trust, loyalty, and who Drake allows near him. The PARTYNEXTDOOR collaboration brings OVO label chemistry to the cut, the two trading verses on a song that reads as both a flex about exclusivity and a quiet meditation on isolation: the more guarded the circle, the smaller and lonelier it becomes. Drake frames access to his world as a privilege that has been abused, returning to the album's preoccupation with people who got close for transactional reasons. The production keeps For All the Dogs' (2023) hazy, late-night atmosphere. Within the album the song extends the persecuted-narrator theme — wealth and fame as forces that necessitate gatekeeping and breed suspicion. As a deep cut it functions as mood and theme reinforcement rather than a single.
